Dr. Gurveen Waraich recently posted a video on her Instagram account, revealing the beauty practices she strictly avoids. As the head of Garekars MD Dermatology Clinic, Dr. Waraich shared her beauty dos and don’ts, offering valuable advice for skin and hair care.

While tattoos are commonly done using black ink, many individuals love incorporating colors like red, green, purple, white, or blue. However, Dr. Waraich cautioned against opting for red or green tattoos. Though these colorful designs may seem appealing, she warned that they could lead to regret later, especially since laser removal for red and green tattoos is particularly painful.

She explained, “As a dermatologist, one thing I would never do is get a green or red tattoo. I know from experience how difficult and painful it is to remove these colors with a laser if you ever regret your decision.”

Dr. Waraich also highlighted several skin and hair treatments she would avoid, offering advice on her preferences. She emphasized that women over 40 should avoid getting a strong, deep chemical peel, particularly on the face. She also warned against hair rebonding or straightening, calling it “suicide for your hair,” adding that she does not approve of this treatment.

Another procedure Dr. Waraich cautioned against is receiving dermal fillers directly into the nasolabial folds without having a face-lifting or cheek-contouring procedure first. She also reminded everyone about the importance of sunscreen, stating, “I would never, ever skip my sunscreen.”

In this candid post, Dr. Waraich shared insights into her skincare regimen, urging others to follow these tips for healthier skin and hair.
