Chie Filomeno is celebrating the holidays in South Korea, where she’s been enjoying delicious food and sightseeing. However, the 28-year-old actress found time to fit one more special activity into her busy schedule: getting not one, but three new tattoos!
On Instagram, Chie shared her excitement, saying, “Ending the year with three new tattoos,” and tagged the tattoo artist. She posted a picture showing off her latest ink: a coquette-inspired ribbon, a bowl of ramen, and a mini bouquet of flowers. With these additions, Chie now has a total of 11 tattoos!
Chie placed the ramen bowl tattoo on the back of her left shoulder, while the mini bouquet of flowers sits behind her arm. For those with a low pain tolerance, the flower tattoo is generally more bearable due to the fatty tissue in that area, which provides some cushion. However, the shoulder area is bonier, which could mean more pain during the process. But, as always, it depends on the individual!
As for the ribbon, Chie chose to have it tattooed on her nape, an area known for having thinner skin and more nerve endings, making it a more painful spot to get inked. Well done to Chie for enduring that! Like the bouquet, the ribbon tattoo features color, which requires extra care and maintenance. If you opt for colored ink, it’s important to visit your tattoo artist for touch-ups to keep it looking fresh.
