Veteran heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has announced plans to tattoo his entire face after his recent loss to Jake Paul.
Following his fight with Paul, Tyson revealed he intends to expand his signature facial tattoo, which has become one of his trademarks since its initial inking in 2003.
The 58-year-old boxer shared his thoughts with The New York Post, suggesting that he is considering a bold move: covering his entire face with tattoos.
Tyson’s iconic tribal tattoo, which wraps around his left eye and cheek, is instantly recognizable. While Tyson kept the specifics of his new plans under wraps, he teased, “I’m not going to tell you, but it’s going to be interesting.”
For Tyson, this decision holds a deeper meaning. “I think it’s liberation,” he said. “I don’t care if somebody’s not going to put me on their plane or let me on their yacht or anything. [The face tattoo] allows me to be me.”
