Mia Hewitt, the eldest daughter of Lleyton and Bec Hewitt, recently turned heads in Sydney when she showcased her new tattoo while swimming at Gordon’s Bay.
The 18-year-old sported a fresh tattoo wrapping around her left arm and looked stunning in a mismatched G-string bikini. It seems the trend of matching bikini sets is now officially out, with Mia leading the charge.
Mia appeared joyful and in great health as she moved around the bay, bearing a striking resemblance to her mother, Bec.
Mia is the firstborn of Australia’s beloved early 2000s power couple. Lleyton, once Tennis Australia’s golden boy, and Bec, known for her role on Home and Away, became an iconic couple after they began dating in 2005. The pair married that same year and remain together today. Mia also has two younger siblings: Cruz, an up-and-coming tennis player, and Ava.
In looks, Mia has inherited Bec’s renowned bone structure, making her a near carbon copy of her mum.
Now 18, Mia has fully embraced her “hipster” phase, frequently seen sporting 70s-inspired outfits while hanging out in Sydney’s inner west. On her Instagram, she describes herself as a “sister of the moon.”
In another twist, Mia is dating Vanda Erich, a member of the indie rock band Liquid Zoo.
Not content to just live in the shadow of her famous parents, Mia has decided to pursue her own path in show business. But rather than stepping into her mum’s dancing shoes or her dad’s tennis racquet, Mia is carving out a unique space for herself. She’s part of a folk-rock duo, Father’s Favourite, alongside her friend Claudia Rose. The duo is known for writing “witchy little love songs” and has been performing regularly in Sydney’s inner west. They’ve even opened for Vanda’s band at local gigs.
Mia’s recent beach appearance comes after her parents returned to Sydney in 2023, having spent nearly a decade living in Melbourne. Since the move, Mia has been spotted around the city, embracing the Sydney lifestyle. She’s been seen attending Pilates, spending time with her boyfriend, looking chic in Surry Hills, and, of course, enjoying the city’s beautiful beaches.
Meanwhile, Lleyton and Bec have reportedly invested $10 million in a luxurious resort-style mansion in Sydney’s Hills district. The new home is said to feature a swimming pool, tennis court, guest cottage, and office, adding to the family’s impressive list of properties.
