Carlos Alcaraz has revealed his upcoming tattoo plans as he prepares for the 2024 Paris Masters. The young Spaniard proudly displayed his Eiffel Tower tattoo, which he got following his victory at this year’s French Open.
After winning each Grand Slam, Alcaraz marks the achievement with a new tattoo, making his ink choices highly anticipated among tennis fans. When asked by the media whether he would add to his Eiffel Tower tattoo if he wins the Paris Masters, Alcaraz clarified that he only gets tattoos for Grand Slam victories. He has the Eiffel Tower tattooed on his left ankle, along with the date of his French Open win, June 8, 2024.
The 21-year-old stated, “Uh No. I mean, I’m not. I don’t think that I’m gonna have another tattoo. I said if I win the first Grand Slams, you know, when I won the US Open, Wimbledon, Roland Garros, of course.”
Alcaraz explained that his tattoos symbolize his first triumph at each specific Major, which is why he didn’t get a new tattoo after his second Wimbledon win. He hopes his next tattoo will come after he secures his first Australian Open title. At that moment, he excitedly showcased his Eiffel Tower tattoo to the reporter.
In addition to the Eiffel Tower ink, Alcaraz has a “ccc” tattoo near his right elbow, commemorating his US Open victory, and the date of his Wimbledon win, alongside a strawberry, on his right ankle. Notably, he did not get a tattoo to celebrate his second-place finish at the Paris Olympics, as he did not win the Gold.
