A pioneering tattoo artist from Cheltenham is set to collaborate with patients at a Birmingham hospital.
Tanya Buxton, a medical tattoo specialist and owner of Paradise Tattoo Studios, will partner with HCA Healthcare UK at its newly established private facility, The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham.
On LinkedIn, Tanya expressed her pride in being the first tattoo artist brought in by HCA UK, stating, “I’m so proud to be building more relationships within the medical field and representing tattooing and all the wonderful and empowering options available to people as part of their healing journey.”
Tanya already provides medical tattoo services for breast cancer patients at Kingston Hospital in London, having been the first tattoo artist enlisted by the NHS to offer areola tattoos. She is also a registered provider with Bupa, Vitality, and Nuffield Healthcare.
Earlier this year, she launched her Areola Tattoo Training Programme to enhance training standards in this specialized area. Students and medical professionals from around the world have come to learn from her expertise.
