Charlotte Flair may not be appearing on WWE television right now, but her presence is still felt by Rhea Ripley.
Flair, a WWE Grand Slam Champion, has been sidelined since December 2023 due to a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She updated fans in July 2024 with footage of her return to in-ring training and shared her determination to come back strong.
Recent reports suggest Flair could make her WWE return around November this year. Meanwhile, Flair is keeping up with the latest WWE news, including recent comments made by Rhea Ripley.
In a new episode of WWE Tattooed, which focuses on Ripley, a fan pointed out a specific mention of Flair. Ripley commented, “I added the crown to it at WrestleMania 39 because I was being cheeky. I got a crown because I’m going to take Charlotte Flair’s crown, so now I have a crown and that’s exactly what I did.”
Flair responded to the clip after it was shared by a fan, tweeting, “I’m really always just minding my business and sitting pretty when @RheaRipley_WWE makes me her topic AGAIN 🤣”
The tweet included a clip from Real Housewives of Atlanta where a cast member questions why they get involved in things.
Ripley defeated Flair at WrestleMania 39 on April 1 & 2, 2023, to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
