Tattoos can dramatically alter one’s appearance, and few understand this better than Amber Luke. The 29-year-old Australian model, who began her tattoo journey as a teenager, has undergone a remarkable transformation over the years.
Amber’s evolution is evident in her Instagram posts, where she showcases her striking change from a fresh-faced blonde to a head-turning alternative model. Reflecting on her journey, Amber shared with her 66,000 followers: “EVOLUTION OF THE BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON. The first photo was taken when I was 17 years old—12 years ago now. Twelve years of dedication, blood, tears, and pushing my boundaries.”
Amber, now known as “Australia’s Most Tattooed Woman” according to Google, has covered 98% of her body with tattoos and modifications. Her journey has included both highs and lows, and she remains grateful for the experience.
Her transformation is largely attributed to her extensive tattoo collection, which includes bold blackout designs on her arms, calligraphy on her face, and intricate patterns on intimate areas. The most notable change, however, is her eye tattoos. Amber risked blindness to have her eyes permanently inked a vivid shade of blue, a procedure that was both excruciating and dramatic. This unique feature has earned her the nickname ‘Blue Eyes White Dragon.’
Beyond tattoos, Amber has invested significantly in her appearance, including plastic surgery, fillers, tongue-splitting surgery, numerous piercings, and stretched ears. She estimates having spent around £141,000 to achieve her look.
Her striking appearance has garnered admiration from fans, who describe her as “inspiring,” “beautiful,” and “hardworking.” Many encourage her to continue pursuing what makes her happy.
Despite the pain and time invested in her transformation, Amber has no regrets, affirming that it has been “all worth it.”
