A vibrant and striking Scottish tattoo design by Louise Marklew, known as Scoobstattoo on TikTok, has gone viral with 1.2 million views to date.
When considering iconic Scottish tattoo ideas, images like the Saltire, the phrase “Flower of Scotland,” or a thistle come to mind. You might also think of a Highland cow, a kilted bagpipe player, or the Loch Ness Monster.
In the video’s opening caption, Louise explains that the client requested “a trashy Scottish leg sleeve with some color.” Louise shared her journey with the Daily Record, revealing how she got her “big break”: “I began tattooing in 2014, almost by accident. Although I’ve always been artistic, I initially worked as a receptionist at a tattoo studio and was quite poor at it. Luckily, Charlie offered me an apprenticeship, or I’d still be at a loss about what to do now.”
