Becky Holt, Britain’s renowned tattoo queen, has recently shared her most excruciating tattoo experience to date. Known for her high-profile encounters, including a meeting with former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Holt has now turned the spotlight onto her latest and most painful body modification.

Collaborating with tattoo artist Luke Brundish, Holt underwent a particularly intense inking procedure, which she detailed on her Instagram account, where she boasts 158,000 followers under the handle @becky_holt__.

Holt described the tattoo of a swirling pattern on her heel as the most painful she has ever endured. In her Instagram post, she admitted to using numbing cream in an attempt to ease the discomfort, but found it ineffective.

This pain is not unusual; areas with little flesh and close to the bone—such as the groin, ankle, rib cage, and skull—are known to be the most painful spots for tattooing.

“Finally! Thanks so much @luke_the_tattooist, today was a blast,” Holt shared on Instagram, alongside a video of the tattoo process and the final result.

“Everyone always asks me about the most painful place to get tattooed. Well, today I had my heel done, and it’s definitely one of the worst, but it was manageable.”

She added, “Did I try to numb it? Yes. Did it work? No. It numbs the skin but not the bone, so save yourself the trouble of trying to numb your feet—it doesn’t work.”
