On Monday, Romeo Beckham showcased his latest tattoos on Instagram, further following in the footsteps of his famous father, David Beckham.
The 21-year-old son of David, 49, and Victoria Beckham, 50, displayed a lion’s face on his arm, accompanied by the words “Do it afraid.” On his other arm, he revealed an image of a bird carrying a rose in its mouth, with the words “Everything passes.”
These new tattoos were done by an artist known as Certified Letter Boy, who shared pictures on social media. In the gallery of images, Romeo and the artist posed together, with another image showing Romeo being tattooed.
Earlier this year, Romeo once again drew inspiration from his father by wearing a satin patterned bandana during a night out at Chiltern Firehouse in London, mirroring a look David rocked 25 years ago.
Romeo’s new tattoos follow his brother Cruz’s recent tattoo debut. Cruz, 19, revealed a Three Lions tattoo on his upper arm to show his support for England ahead of the Euros 2024 final. Both brothers visited the same tattoo artist at The London Social last week for new ink.
In a clip shared on Instagram, Cruz showed off the team’s logo, rolling up his England shirt sleeve and giving a thumbs-up to the camera. Romeo, meanwhile, got “Romance” inked in cursive on his index finger.
Earlier this year, Cruz celebrated his 19th birthday with a new tattoo matching one of David’s—a portrait of Jesus sitting down. The Man of Sorrows inking, also done by Certified Letter Boy, mirrors David’s tattoo on his right side.
Cruz got his first tattoo at 16 while on holiday in Miami, showcasing a butterfly on his thigh in an Instagram post.
The Beckhams are known for their extensive tattoo collection, with David and Brooklyn, 24, boasting over 200 tattoos between them. Brooklyn, a self-professed tattoo addict, has more than 70 tattoos dedicated to his wife, Nicola Peltz.
David, who got his first tattoo in 1999, has numerous tributes to his wife Victoria, including her name and a large rose with the words “I Love you” on his neck.
The Beckham brothers also share a tattoo honoring their bond, each sporting the word “Brotherhood” inked on different parts of their bodies. Brooklyn has it on his leg, Romeo on his leg above an eagle inking, and Cruz on his hand.
Brooklyn’s tattoos for Nicola include her portrait on his upper arm, her eyes on the back of his neck, and their wedding vows inked on his arm.
Romeo’s diverse tattoo collection includes “free spirit,” a large dove on his wrist, a stone angel statue on his forearm, “freedom to dream” on his torso, and “love” spelled out on his fingers. He also has a replica of David’s famous winged cross on his neck.
