During today’s morning show, Kwambox discussed the recent trend of Brown Mauzo and his girlfriend getting matching tattoos.
“Ladies, why do we get caught up in these things? A guy convinces you to let him get a tattoo on your arm or back so that everyone knows it’s his,” Kwambox remarked.
“Brown Mauzo and his girlfriend have gotten matching tattoos. When love feels so sweet, it’s easy to say, ‘Let’s get matching tattoos—I’ll get black and you get red.’”
Kwambox pointed out the problem with matching tattoos: they are permanent, while relationships can end at any time.
“The issue with relationships in Kenya is that they aren’t as permanent as the tattoos we get. Imagine if Brown Mauzo had gotten a tattoo of Vera—get my point?” she said.
She added that while matching tattoos may seem cute and entertaining, regrets often set in when the relationship goes wrong.
