Kym Marsh, currently starring in the 101 Dalmatians musical as Cruella De Vil, has recently unveiled a significant addition to her appearance in the form of a new tattoo. In a social media post, she shared a photo of her tattoo depicting Cruella, the infamous villain, elegantly smoking, clad in a coat made from Dalmatian puppy fur. The tattoo, situated on her rib, serves as a permanent memento of her portrayal in the musical.

“Thank you @jesswright_tattoo for my awesome Cruella tattoo,” Kym expressed to her 616,000 Instagram followers. “Needed something to cover up an old one and this is just perfect! A great reminder of playing this iconic villain! Although… if you’re gonna have a tattoo gang… ribs are SORE!!!”

Acknowledging the pain of the process, she humorously added, “Sorry Jess for the occasional swear word hahah. You’re an absolute genius!”

Fans responded with admiration for the tattoo, despite understanding the discomfort associated with rib tattoos. Kym shared insights into her commitment to the role of Cruella, noting her previous experience playing villains and the iconic status of the character.

“I played a villain a couple of years ago when I did Fatal Attraction, so I played the bad guy, as it were, before now – but obviously, playing Cruella De Vil is a completely different thing,” she explained.

Reflecting on her time on Coronation Street, where her character sought revenge, Kym emphasized the distinctiveness of embodying such roles and the impact they have on audiences.
