Professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, husband of celebrity vlogger Andi Eigenmann, has altered his controversial 224 tattoo.
The tattoo, originally a matching design with Pernilla Sjoo, sparked controversy when photos of the two flaunting it surfaced. This happened amid rumors of marital issues between Philmar and Andi, leading to speculation about a potential breakup. The situation was further complicated as other individuals became involved.
However, Philmar later announced that he and Andi had reconciled. They shared moments of family bonding, even getting a new tattoo together. Throughout the ordeal, Philmar also expressed gratitude for reaching 1 million followers on his Facebook page.
On Valentine’s Day, Philmar surprised Andi with a bouquet of flowers, which sent a wave of excitement among their social media followers. The couple, known for sharing their life in Siargao through vlogs, gained a lot of love and support from fans.
Over time, the public criticism died down, especially after the couple was criticized for airing personal matters that involved other people. Philmar had long been friends with Pernilla, and during the controversy, celebrity couple Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna—who are also close to Pernilla—came to her defense.
Recently, as reported by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, followers noticed a change in Philmar’s tattoo. The original 224 tattoo, once prominently displayed on his arm, was replaced with a new design.
Philmar shared a reposted photo from his friend, Jared Jahleel Payao, on his Instagram story, captioning it with three praying hands emojis.
This is not the first time Philmar has attracted attention online. A video surfaced in which he appeared to be having an intimate conversation with another woman, sparking further online controversy.
