Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell may still be recovering from a severe leg injury he sustained last December, but that didn’t stop him from making headlines with a jaw-dropping new tattoo.

While under anesthesia, the former Alabama A&M standout got an elaborate full-leg tattoo featuring iconic horror film characters like Scream, Chucky, Michael Myers, and others. The intense artwork is enough to send chills down anyone’s spine — and it’s drawing major attention across the NFL and social media.

Dell’s injury occurred during a freak incident in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he dislocated his left kneecap and tore all the outer ligaments in his knee. Following multiple surgeries, Dell is now in recovery, though he is expected to miss the entire 2025-26 NFL season.

Despite his setbacks, Dell has already made a name for himself as one of the league’s promising young talents. In just two seasons with Houston, he has recorded 98 receptions for 1,376 yards and ten touchdowns, showing flashes of brilliance whenever he’s been on the field.

Some fans see Dell’s brutal tattoo as a symbol of his resilience and fighting spirit amid the challenges he’s faced early in his career.

This isn’t his first major injury, either. Dell’s rookie season was cut short due to a broken fibula that also required surgical intervention. Yet through it all, the Texans’ 2023 third-round draft pick has continued to demonstrate his skill, determination, and grit. All eyes will be on him in 2026 to see if he can return stronger and reclaim his upward trajectory.
