Brianna Chickenfry had an emotional experience at Taylor Swift’s final Eras Tour show in Vancouver, and she commemorated the moment with a new tattoo.
In a viral clip, the social media star revealed her tattoo inspired by Swift’s song I Hate It Here just before Taylor took her final bow at BC Place Stadium on Sunday night.
With the poignant lyrics playing in the background, Brianna, who had recently been blindsided by her breakup with Zach Bryan, was seen lying on her front over a couch while tattoo artist Taylor Menzies inked her.
The tattoo, a skull with roses growing out of it, was clearly inspired by the line “I hate it here, so I will go to secret gardens in my mind” from the song.
Menzies expressed gratitude for the opportunity on Instagram, captioning the clip, “So grateful to be trusted with this. Thanks Bri, you are truly such a beautiful soul who has and continues to empower so many women.”
Brianna shared the emotional experience with her followers on Instagram Stories, posting clips from the concert where she teared up during Taylor’s performance and even received an Eras Tour jacket from a fellow fan.
The tattoo reveal comes after Brianna said she felt “validated” following a heart-to-heart conversation with Zach Bryan’s ex-wife, Rose Madden, a month after Zach’s unexpected breakup announcement.
During an episode of BFFs Podcast, Brianna shared with co-hosts Josh Richards and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that she’d been in touch with Rose.
“I FaceTimed with Rose for a couple of hours actually,” Brianna said. “I f—ing love her. I have never felt more seen and validated in my life, same with her. Oh my gosh. She’s a great person.”
While Portnoy pushed for more details, Brianna shut him down, stating, “That’s between me and Rose.”
Meanwhile, Zach Bryan has removed nearly all traces of his marriage to Rose, which ended a year after their July 2020 wedding. This comes after Zach’s absence from the 2024 CMAs, despite being nominated for Musical Event of the Year. Instead of attending the event, Zach shared photos of himself enjoying a “rainy day.”
Brianna and Zach confirmed their relationship in July 2023 on Brianna’s podcast, PlanBri Uncut. During an episode titled The Cat’s Out Of The Bag, she revealed, “I think I might have some stuff to address. I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Zach.” She clarified that he was 28-year-old country star Zach Bryan and that they had been seeing each other for “three weeks.”
After their relationship confirmation, Brianna and Zach made their red carpet debut at the Grammy Awards in February.
On October 22, Brianna posted an emotional video on YouTube just hours after Zach announced their breakup on Instagram. Titled “Love you guys, I’ll be back soon,” the video showed her speaking candidly from her bathroom floor, which she described as her comfort zone.
“I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up, and I had no idea that post was going up,” Brianna shared. “He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, like, ‘Are you okay?'”
She revealed she was “completely blindsided” by Zach’s decision to make their breakup public. “Do you see the swelling on my face? I’ve been crying for like five days straight,” she admitted.
“I’m at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through stuff that you shouldn’t because you just love them and you want them… like you see the good in them?” Brianna continued through tears.
“This is so embarrassing. I don’t give a f***,” she added. “How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days? It’s really, really heartbreaking.”
Near the end of the video, Brianna urged viewers to respect her privacy, stating she would share her thoughts when ready, but for now, she was feeling completely “blindsided.”
