Chrissy Teigen is sporting some fresh ink—albeit temporary!
The 38-year-old model and cookbook author attended the ChainFEST LA food festival on Saturday, October 5, and shared an Instagram video revealing her new temporary ‘White Castle’ tattoo on her lower back.
“I went to ChainFEST and I came home with this,” Teigen explained in the video, noting her striking latex outfit, which was “difficult” to move in. Her ensemble featured a black bodysuit paired with a nude pencil skirt.
Turning to showcase her back, she pulled down her skirt to reveal the tattoo, which appeared to depict a helmet with wings and some letters beneath.
“This is a White Castle lower back tattoo,” she said with a laugh, revealing that the ink from the hamburger chain lasts for eight days. “I have a White Castle lower back tattoo that lasts for eight days,” she reiterated, shaking her head in disbelief.
In addition to getting her new tattoo at the food festival, which adds to her collection of permanent tattoos—including an elephant on her wrist and a butterfly designed by her daughter Luna—Teigen also graced the red carpet in her eye-catching outfit and spoke to PEOPLE about her family’s costume plans for the upcoming Halloween.
“We love Halloween,” she told PEOPLE. “But now it’s about kids’ Halloween. I actually prefer the kid ones because they’re so fun and cute, and they happen during the day, which lets me still go to bed early.”
Teigen and her husband, John Legend, share four children—Luna, 8; Miles Theodore, 6; Esti Maxine, 20 months; and Wren Alexander, 15 months. The family is known for their adorable Halloween costumes, but this year might be a little different, according to Teigen.
“Well, my kids don’t know any of the families that I want to be, so I pitched them some ideas, and they were like, ‘Who’s that?’” she joked. She added that her son Miles has a particular idea for his costume this year.
“My son wants to be like Marshmello. He’s obsessed with the DJ Marshmello, so he’s going to be that. And I’m like, ‘They’re not into the family thing right now,’” Teigen explained.
As for her youngest two children, Esti and Wren, Teigen humorously noted that being “babies,” she can “make them do whatever [she] wants.”
