Brooke Warne, daughter of cricket legend Shane Warne, has revealed a heartfelt tribute to her late father. The 27-year-old influencer displayed a delicate tattoo of her dad’s iconic number 23 on her wrist while enjoying a walk through Melbourne.
Dressed in a chic monochrome ensemble, Brooke wore a form-fitting sleeveless black top paired with white trousers. She accessorized with black designer sandals, stylish sunglasses, and a black bag. Her look was elevated with gold earrings and a diamond ring, adding a touch of elegance.
With her blonde hair styled in a ponytail and minimal makeup, Brooke’s understated beauty shone through.
Shane Warne, a cricket icon, tragically passed away from a heart attack on March 4, 2022, while staying in a luxury villa on the Thai island of Koh Samui. He was 52 years old.
In memory of their father, Brooke, alongside her siblings Jackson, 25, and Summer, 23, established “The Shane Warne Legacy.” This foundation offers free heart screenings to Australians, aiming to prevent further loss from heart disease.
Recently, Brooke used her platform to encourage her followers to prioritize their heart health. In May, she posted on Instagram alarming statistics about heart disease, urging her audience to get checked through The Shane Warne Legacy.
“Heart disease is the leading cause of death in men and the second highest for women. Get checked at one of our machines. It’s free and takes just four minutes. This test could save your life!” Brooke emphasized.
In an open letter published in the Herald Sun, Shane Warne’s children explained the motivation behind their nationwide campaign. They revealed their father had been focusing on his health during his ill-fated trip to Thailand, with his manager James Erskine affirming that Shane had been sober at the time.
While Shane Warne’s sudden passing shook the nation, his children hope his legacy can inspire Australians to take proactive steps in safeguarding their own health.
