Riley Keough has expressed her desire to remove some of her older tattoos. During her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, the Daisy Jones & the Six actress discussed the ink on her fingers when host Seth Meyers asked about it.

Riley revealed that she had the Gemini zodiac symbol tattooed on her finger at a Los Angeles tattoo parlor during her teenage years.

“I don’t want any more tattoos. I’m done… It’s a complicated relationship. I often wear rings to cover them, like this one,” she said, pointing to a large gold ring on her right finger. “It was done at Shamrock on Sunset. It was a moment, but now I think about getting them lasered off.”

Seth humorously suggested that she wait for advancements in tattoo removal technology, joking that laser removal might take longer than she’d like. He added, “Maybe in the future, there’ll be a pill or lotion for it.”

During the conversation, Riley also talked about incorporating tattoo symbols significant to her family into her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s posthumous memoir From Here to the Great Unknown. Before her passing in January 2023 at age 54, Lisa Marie had asked Riley to complete the long-anticipated book.

“That was a tattoo my mother and brother both shared,” Riley explained, referencing her brother, Benjamin Keough, who passed away at 27 in 2020. “We were discussing with the publisher how to differentiate voices in the memoir, and the tattoo symbol was suggested. I thought it was a beautiful idea.”
