Prince Harry recently generated buzz during his visit to New York City, with speculation swirling that he might have gotten a new tattoo. The 40-year-old Duke of Sussex was spotted leaving East Side Ink, a well-known tattoo shop frequented by celebrities, leading many to wonder if he added to his collection.
A video shared on social media platform X shows Harry exiting East Side Ink in dark jeans and a tan jacket, which obscured any visible tattoos. Reports indicate he spent about an hour at the tattoo parlor on Wednesday, September 25. Although East Side Ink has tattooed stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson, they have not confirmed whether Harry actually received a tattoo.
While tattoos are generally not associated with British royals, Prince Harry would not be the first in his family to have one. His cousin, Princess Eugenie, has a small tattoo behind her ear, and Lady Amelia Windsor has several, including a tiger and three bear cubs.
During his NYC trip, Harry also made a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he participated in a Halloween-themed segment called “Tonightmares,” facing off against various creepy creatures, including a zombie-like werewolf. They celebrated their escape with a fun photo.
In addition to his TV appearance, Harry’s agenda included attending a significant dinner hosted by the World Health Organization on September 22, focusing on violence against children and its mental health implications. He also co-hosted a panel discussion with The Diana Award at the Concordia Summit and participated in events for his environmental initiative, Travalyst, along with The HALO Trust and African Parks.
While it’s still unclear whether Prince Harry left East Side Ink with a new tattoo, his busy trip to New York City has certainly kept the conversation going. Whether discussing his potential new ink or his charitable efforts, the Duke of Sussex remains in the spotlight.
