Rinku Singh has recently added a new tattoo to his collection, celebrating the five consecutive sixes he hit during the IPL 2023 season against Yash Dayal. Known for his explosive finishing abilities, the Indian batter received this latest ink ahead of the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. The tattoo, located on his left arm, features the phrase “God’s plan,” which he previously used to inspire Dayal after the Royal Challengers Bangalore secured a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs against the Chennai Super Kings.
Tattoo artist Raghav shared insights about the tattoo on his Instagram, revealing a subtle detail that includes five “O” letters, symbolizing the five sixes Singh struck against the Gujarat Titans on April 9, 2023.
Rinku was last seen on the field during the T20I series against Sri Lanka, where he had a modest performance, scoring only six runs. However, he did contribute by taking two wickets in an over, helping the Indian team clinch victory in a Super Over.
To date, Singh has represented India in 23 T20I matches, accumulating 418 runs at an impressive strike rate of 174.16, including two half-centuries. In addition to his T20I appearances, he played two ODI matches against South Africa last year.
At 26 years old, Rinku is anticipated to be included in the Indian squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, with the first match scheduled for October 6 in Gwalior. While the BCCI has yet to announce the official T20I squad, Rinku is expected to join other white-ball specialists, including Hardik Pandya and T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav.
