Hong Kong’s renowned tattoo convention is set to make a grand return in 2024. The Hong Kong China International Tattoo Exhibition will be back for its 8th edition, hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai from October 4 to 6.
During this three-day event, the Tattoo Exhibition 2024 will take place in Hall 5G of the HKCEC, bringing together tattoo artists from across the globe to showcase their craft. Attendees can look forward to meeting artists from countries such as Japan, Thailand, Serbia, and many more. This convention offers tattoo enthusiasts a unique opportunity to engage with both local and international artists, as well as the chance to get new tattoos. Additionally, visitors can admire the art of tattooing through events like the Poster Marathon and Tattoo Competition.
Among the participating tattoo artists are Marko Stamenkovic from Thailand, Meow Meow from China, and Sajin from Korea, along with local talents like Hana and Tuna, who will also be present at the convention.
The 2024 tattoo convention will kick off with the Poster Marathon. This event, in collaboration with global artist agency 6VI, features over 100 artists from more than 30 countries. Each artist will showcase their interpretation of themes such as “Tattoo Industry,” “Hong Kong Culture,” and “Skull.” The result is an impressive display of creativity, highlighting each artist’s unique style.
