Hong Kong’s much-anticipated annual tattoo convention is set to return in 2024, marking its 8th edition. The Hong Kong China International Tattoo Exhibition 2024 will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai from October 4 to 6.
For three days, Hall 5G at HKCEC will be the epicenter of tattoo artistry, featuring talented tattoo artists from around the globe. Attendees can look forward to seeing artists from Japan, Thailand, Serbia, and many other countries, as they gather to showcase their skills. This event is a golden opportunity for tattoo enthusiasts to connect with both local and international artists, and perhaps even get some fresh ink. The 2024 edition of the tattoo convention kicks off with the Poster Marathon, an initiative in collaboration with the global artist agency 6VI. Over 100 artists from more than 30 countries have contributed to this project, each offering their unique interpretation of themes like “Tattoo Industry,” “Hong Kong Culture,” and “Skull.” The result is an impressive collection of artworks that highlight the diverse styles and creativity of each artist.
A major highlight of the Hong Kong China International Tattoo Exhibition 2024 is the eagerly awaited Tattoo Competition. Tattoo artists from around the world will compete, showcasing their artistry and unique styles. The competition features three categories: black and white, color, and schoolwork, allowing artists to demonstrate their expertise in various techniques. Spectators will have the chance to admire the intricate craftsmanship and skill that goes into body inking.

Visitors can choose between a one-day pass for HK$200 or a three-day pass for HK$300 to fully experience all that the exhibition has to offer.
